Benedict Chan Jia WeiAbout
My interest in economics started in junior college and my fascination with economics grew while in Yale-NUS. Some of my favorite courses are Behavioral Economics, Investment Analysis, and Bubbles, Crashes, Panics and Crises. I am extremely interested in the behavioural aspect of economics that the mathematical models fail to capture, because it portrays a more accurate representation of how humans think and act, and impacts every aspect of our lives from financial planning to choosing our career paths. In my free time, I enjoy travelling, playing sports and finding good carrot cake in Singapore!
